The main goal for each chapter is to solve the puzzle by getting to a chest. This is accomplished by clicking and burning a rope, which causes the chest to fall. I coded the functionality for clicking this rope, the chest falling, the line renderer with the rope moving properly and a VFX playing when burning the rope.
I made sure all UI made by the artists displayed properly.
Main menu, pause menu, level select and options were all coded and placed by me. I also made the end level screen functionality.
We had a lot of programmers available, so I chose to make some VFX for this game, so I made a lot of the particle effects for the game, the candle burning, the candle being put out, burning things, torches and window particle effects. It was especially fun to do because it was a mobile game, so resources were limited and I worked closely with the graphics team to make beautiful, quite optimized effects.
